Make-up Tutorial: Watermelon eyes

Hey there Lovelies!! <3

Today I created a very cute look for you guys. I will call this make-up "Watermelon of my eye." (i know i should just get on with it) :))
So today i was out with my mom and lola. I wasn't sure how i was supposed to feel about the weather because it was raining on and off. While on the road we saw street vendors of "mais," bought one and started eating. That time i was thinking of what make-up tutorial to post and thought of a fruit that has beautiful colors. Since i love watermelon, it was the first thing that popped into my mind. So when i got home, i went straight to my make-up stuffs, took a look at possible colors i have and then poof! there goes my make-up tutorial.

I hope you guys will love it and tell me what you think about it! :)

How i used/ distributed the colors of the watermelon:

Before i start with the whole process of creating this look, let me first show you this eye diagram as reference. I will be using the terms in it in all my tutorials. :)
.
.
The Steps:
First i did was apply Olay Beauty fluid to moisturize my face.
Then I did my eyebrow, i skipped foundation first to avoid fall-outs.
-- Then i applied this color onto my inner lid area.
-- Then this color in the middle lid are. Apply this also in the inner lower lash line.
-- Next is this one on my outer lid are. Blend so there won't be harsh edges.
-- Just above the crease/ under bone, apply this color very lightly and blend.
.
-- Then this color on the crease going to the outer lid, creating a V like shape .Then apply it also on the outer lower lash line.
.
-- To finish it of put this color on the brow bone.
-- i then applied a black eye liner then skin food's white eye liner at the lower waterline, then Maybeline's Magnum mascara.
.
.
--  Now it's time for foundation and concealer. Using a foundation brush i used this Bobbi Brown compact foundation in warm beige and Fanny Serrano's concealer in sand.
.
.
-- For the cheeks i used a PAC blush(L), then contoured my nose and cheeks with this bronzer(R).
.
.
--  To top it all of i used NYX soft matte lip cream in Stockholm.
.
.
.
.
Hope you girls liked it. you now have a look that's perfect for just about any occasions!

CHEERS! :)

FIN!

So here i want to show you what i have so far. i don't have much but i just want to show you guys! don't worry, soon i'll be posting a tutorial, watch out for that! :) if you guys have suggestions please don't hesitate to leave a comment about it.. :)

(click on the photo for a larger view)

So here are all the eye shadows i currently have and the eye shadows that i will be using in doing my make up re-do's and tutorials.

I have here brands such as:
Fashion 21
Fanny Serrano
L.A. Colors
Elianto
Victoria Secret
Clinique
and a few that i cant remember the brand names. :)

Here is a photo of the lipsticks that i use. I will be doing a review on each by brands soon. watch out for that also. :)
Here's a closer look
brands i have:
NYX
Maybeline
Revlon
Ever Bilena
Nichido
Avon
Lancome
Mac

So these are the things i usually use especially the lipsticks. i always have one on because it adds fun on to your face. I dont really use lipstick before but i loved it when i started using one. Of course its a must that you not just put on any kinds of colors on because you should double check if it suits you well..

JUST A TIP!
if you girls love to wear red lipsticks you should be sure it matches your skin color. If your skin tone is darker use a red orangey lipstick. but if your mistisa, use a red lipstick.
Let's all be beautiful!

Cheers! :)

What i started with.

It is truly rewarding when what you have now used to start from scratch.
Everyone has his /her own story of this kind. Now i'll show you guys mine.
a Fanny Serrano concealer - sand
Fashion 21 color set palette
Body Shop foundation brush
eyeshadow brushes from a drugstore
and a PAC blush
These were all i had back then, nothing more, nothing less. I didn't know anything about make-up and i didn't know where to get one but it's really fulfilling to think that one can do so much with only a little to use.
But like any other person, one should upgrade. after watching tons of videos from youtube, i wasn't a fan of blogs before, i found my way into the make-up aficionado's industry. I didn't know what it was that made me gaga over make-up but somehow it was my way of escaping from another me, parang make-up was my alter ego.
Years passed and my love for make-up grew more and more and i expanded what i had. It only goes to show that we don't need to start with something BIG because it's a feeling of getting better at something when you start from nothing to something.

Cheers! :)

What's up with this blog!?

Hey there lovelies!
So finally I've decided to make my own blog of all the things i do. If you read my "about me" section, i said there that "I'm a sucker for make-up." Yup! that's right, I AM. I basically will be posting pictures of make-ups, hairstyles, nail designs and some reviews of make-ups that I've done and tried doing with a little twist of what I know.

Most of the blogs/vlogs that we see is mostly done by bloggers from outside (abroad ba!), and they commonly use products that can be only found forom where they are or if there are, here in the Philippines, it's really expensive. The vision of this blog (naks! may vision) is to make and even remake tutorials that will use materials that are closely accessible to viewers.

I started doing make-up with only one brush and little eye shadows that were given to me as pasalubong. Before, i never buy make-ups of my own and instead wait for my mom to give me make-ups that she doesn't use, oo saklap noh!? but nonetheless I managed to create looks without having much. If i can do it you guys can do to.

Again i will reiterate, "IM NO PRO" but i only wish to share what i know and how i do it without having to wish for something that is inaccessible or even expensive to use. I will use things here that may not be accessible, that's a little inevitable, but most of what i will use is buyable- if there's such a word- in stores here.

Let's all be beautiful!
Cheers! :)
